As per the title. This is one very nice ship. It has me a little intimidated to start it.

The ships are really nice. I picked up two of them at Cold Wars plus all the pirate packs, some a couple of each. I just looked at them today again. I actually like that they are 18mm, which I like more than true 15mm. (My WWII figures are Peter Pig 15mm.)

Those Blue Moon figs are nice, and the ship looks great! Makes me want to slip over into 15mm piratey goodness!
I hope they expand the line some more…

They told me at Cold Wars that the line was done. I had also asked if they were going to do other pirate nations, like Spanish or Barbary Coast. Of course, I could have been misunderstood at the time.

Hi, folks. Thanks for the comments. I like these bigger 18mm minis more also. So far I've identified several manufacturers who make 18mm minis. Blue Moon, Rebel minis, Khurasan, Splintered Light and Eureka. I don't know though whether all of their 15mm are closer to 18mm. Anyone know of any others?

Dan, thanks for putting in those links to the correct page. I accidentally just linked the opening page for the blog instead of the specific post about the Blue Moon Pirate ship.

HOF Sci-fi from 15mm.uk. Not sure if their fantasy are. I think the Blood Dawn (aka Reaper) from Magister Millitum are also 18mm.

Thanks, CPBelt. I've been looking at the 15mm.uk for thier ttf fantasy range, but I haven't bought any yet. I like their skirmish pack concept with all of the minis in different poses.
