In case you guys want to spice up your SF, Pulp or other settings, check out this 2.5 inch tall decoration (about 60-65mm, with base) by Penn Plax (Manufacturer Part #RR858): link link link link auction Hope you can use the info. Dan PS. Now, if there were any Olmec heads out there suitable for 15mm gaming, and that did not cost an arm and a leg (that sounds weird), I would be a very happy man: link |

I like the Armorcast ones the best. link |

The Armorcast ones are nice too but, for 15mm, they are a bit too colossal, aren't they? "The tallest moai erected, called Paro, was almost 10 metres (33 ft) high and weighed 75 tonnes;[3] the heaviest erected was a shorter but squatter moai at Ahu Tongariki, weighing 86 tons; and one unfinished sculpture, if completed, would have been approximately 21 metres (69 ft) tall with a weight of about 270 tons." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moai At 65mm, the Penn Plax ones are about 30 feet tall to a 15mm man. But the Armorcast ones are, I think, at least about 2 or 3 times taller. Dan |

These could also work well for 15mm gaming: link Dan PS. Here are more options for 28mm gamers: TMP link |

Legion, Those you have are so alien-looking: picture Awesome. Dan PS. I wonder how big these ice "cubes" turn out to be ('cause you can make as many heads as you want/need): picture link link |
Cacique Caribe | 07 Jun 2010 8:25 a.m. PST |
Well, I guess the Stone Cold Ice Tray ice "cubes" can't be more than 2.5 inches tall either: "Product Dimensions: 4.2 x 1.2 x 8.5 inches" link So, it seems, those ice "cubes" would also be perfect for 15mm gaming, if cast in plaster or something similar. Dan |

There was a series of Olmec heads
might have been Top Fin. I will see if I can find any maker's marks on mine. |

Thanks CC
That's what I was going for
They are part of my Angry Red Planet terrain ! "Moais On Mars !" I also have the "Tech" Moais from Armorcast, not painted yet. But for 6mm, which is all I do now, the Tech Moais are the size of a tall building
But that works for me
Just some huge Moais-like structures on some far off planet

I just posted the link to the Tech Moais
And yes, Mark did some cool "Moais" there too ! Very Nice !! The whole idea of finding stuff like that on a planet is just very good & very cool Sci-fi. There are a lot of precedents out there – The Face on Mars, Stargate, The 2001 Monolith, etc., etc.

I was thinking that Armorcast had some psuedo-Olmecs, but no joy. I tried Dream Pod 9, and the 'Stone Heads' look about half way 'teen them and Easter Island. I've seen closer, but it's JUST NOT COMING TO ME. My head is ossified through and through
