I like the first one, minus the tail tip…meh.

The second one is bleeck.

As for the thread title…I had to look…and I knew, I knew, it would be Dan!

Now, how did you know it was me? :)

Well, with all the post-apocalyptic talk these days, you would think someone would have come up with a mutant kangaroo by now.

Imagine encountering that in the Outback, or near a secret government facility in your neck of the woods!!!

Cacique Caribe30 Apr 2010 4:09 p.m. PST

Badgers? Badgers?

We don't need no stinkin' badgers! :)

Isn't that the truth!!!!

but what about the BADGERS?????

Visit Splintered Light Miniatures. Buy some of their very nice Druid's Children figures (includes badgers, even one in full plate). Do a little converting to add range weapons and more SciFi gear and you have mutant animals for your games. grin

Come on, guys.

I'm talking about a naked but mutated (or genetic experiment) kangaroos here! :)

No weapons, other than long slashing claws, biting fangs and butt-kicking hind legs and tail. And vicious-looking eyes!!!

I thought this was going to be about the Kung Fu Kangaroo dudes in "Tank Girl", of which I might buy 28mm minis.

Maybe you could convert some Gollumesque 15mm goblins.

Naked, mutant kangaroos? CC, you have waaaaayyyy too much time on your hands! :)

Cacique Caribe30 Apr 2010 5:32 p.m. PST

"Naked, mutant kangaroos?"

LOL. Well, with fur (or a combination of fur/scales)! Think of a mutant kangaroo with mammalian and reptilian genes.

For Pete's sake, will someone please sculpt some Chupacabras for Dan! The poor guy has been waiting for these things for years!

Cacique Caribe30 Apr 2010 7:09 p.m. PST

28mmMan,

I really love that one too!

And, whoever makes it, please don't make it look like a man in a rubber suit.

I guess the only thing with that image is that it looks a little bit like an alien chicken:

So what?!

Chicken tastes good!

Reptile, avian, dinosaur…the great circle of life…with a few added/subtracted details the weird chicken becomes a weird lizard-rat :)

This would be awesome, as a 10-12mm mutant/alien kangaroo beast:

Two or three variants would be even better.

If you cross a kangaroo with a baboon, would it be a "kangaboon" or a "babooroo"?
