Hi,

I`m thinking of using the Airfix Jungle Outpost as a Safari Lodge.
Just a query, what`s the best way of making a thatch roof for the lodge, see pic for example.

One option I've read is some teddy bear fur. Thin PVA glue with water and soak the fur with it, then comb it into the rough direction you want it to go.

I don't remember seeing any building with a thatch roof that had multiple angles/gables on it, however.

Cheers for the info.
Slightly o/t. I have a pack of Caesar Modern French and PLA which i have converted with beret heads and am using as Game Wardens for my games. I also have a pack of the Modern Miltia from Caesar as my Poachers. Can i mix the Modern Militia with 20mm Somali figures from Liberation or are they out of scale.

Cheers again.

Jeff
