Not sure if the folks here have seen this, but I just discovered it myself. It's one big listing of modern pirate naval attacks. Just briefly reading through it gives one plenty of ideas for scenarios at the larger scales. Enjoy.

that is one impressive list of attacks, I have also read that most shipping companies dont report the attacks outside their own offices.

'it looked like a merchant ship…' until it filled up with armed sailors and machine guns- to be fair it was a supply vessel!

Spanish fishing vessels now sail in the waters off Somalia with armed guards licensed by the Spanish govt……..
