Hi all, i know these playtest rules have not made it to press and is sitting on somebody`s hard drive somewhere, but is there a chance to have a copy so i can read them and see what they are like..?

At the moment i`m thinking of mixing the best bits of necromundra and legends of the old west and doctor who rules, as they are all based on the same GW system.

Thanks

I would think that anyone with a copy on their hard drive is bound by confidentiality agreement.

Hmmmm… Firefight didn't make it out in Spring '06, did it?

Have a look at Warhammer Panzer Battles, which was Phil Yates' project before he was recruited by Battlefront to write Flamesof War. It should be all there:

Whoops! Except the basic rules, which can be found here:

What edition of 40K were these written for? 3rd? Will they convert to work with 4th or 5th edition rules?

"At the moment i`m thinking of mixing the best bits of necromundra and legends of the old west and doctor who rules, as they are all based on the same GW system" I thought that the LoTOW were based on LotR?

If you are interested, I did a variant of Necromunda/Mordheim for WWII, with chunks of stuff taken from Warhammer Panzer and Warhammer WWII. If you are interested, let me know and I will email you a copy.

Oops, just remembered that I had them posted online;

We've added in a rule about crouching/going prone giving a -1 to hit, and clarified the rules on cover (using the GW line on this, but apart from that they are my original rules and play okay I think. You'd need a copy of Necromunda to get all of the rules, but they are free too.
