Nice looking minis Mike look forward to some more..

unitrecon19 Dec 2009 8:46 a.m. PST

More than a hint of the Matrix? Possibly some females later?

Older, senior types would be useful as well.

One of the next three which are planned is a female.

Would you be willing to reveal your timeline for releases? These are very nice but I would like to "Maximize" my order with reference to shipping costs across the pond.

Coyotepunc and Hatshepsuut19 Dec 2009 9:26 a.m. PST

I like them. But only 1 in 6 is female?

Thesceneuk Sponsoring Member of TMP19 Dec 2009 9:40 a.m. PST

At the moment I have 20 in total planned for the Special agents.
5 of which will be female. If these turn out to be succesful I will expand the range further.
I hope to have them all finished by the end of February.
I am also looking into doing some drones and small remote controled robots for them.

I have other new figures I am trying to work on at the same time. Police with riot shields, and some assassins. So it depends on what gets finished first.
With working a full time job aswell things dont always go to plan. But February is the target.

I like them

WOW. Awesome!!!

A) Other than streamline/slim down the look and have them wear more modern suits, I think they look great. Note the cut of the suits here:

Lots and lots of links showing other cool suits here:

B) Also, could you have two or three of them (one of them being a woman) wearing windbreakers?

Taken note of the windbreakers Dan.
I had planned to do some, but they were going to be a bit later in the range.
But the idea in this thread is to find out what is needed next. So your points are noted.

The MiBs are long-overdue in 15mm, bravo for producing them!

I agree with CC's comments. More streamlined, modern suits would be good (these are a big baggy). Female agents. Windbreakers are cool but I agree that they're another release for another time.

I like that some of these have glasses, some don't. They can be painted as black, mirrorshades, or as glossy normal eyeglasses. The facial expressions are good: not overly theatrical, mostly neutral. Could you have believed even a few years ago that we'd be talking about this level of detail in 15mm?

A couple unarmed agents in "questioning civilians" poses would be very nice. "Loitering ominously with hand to ear" (presumably listening to his earpiece) is an iconic image. "Holding up badge" would be another. One could carry a briefcase (he's handcuffed to it of course).

MiB's don't use heavy weapons, of course, they call in the army for that. But they DO use sniper rifles, so one or two snipers (one prone to shoot from ground, another kneeling for window/rooftop shots) is another possibility.

All in all great news!

MiniatureReview20 Dec 2009 7:49 a.m. PST

I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of ray gun being used for a few of the figures.

TheSceneUK's Mike,

Got my 6 agents (the three here x 2) in the mail today. They look absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!!!!

You are certainly filling a key niche with this Government Agent range. Can't wait to see what the others in the range will look like.

Thanks so much.

Functional, generic, and clean. Well done gentlemen, well done.

Cacique Caribe13 Jan 2010 1:08 p.m. PST

For the next few secret agent figures in TheSceneUK's Government Agent range . . .

. . . sleek, streamlined suits should be next, I think.

See the suit cut links and suggestions in my 19 Dec 2009 9:58 p.m. PST post above.

Thanks again.

The next three are being done, the first lady, and a couple of conversions on two of the figures. The three after these will be slimmed down abit so there are some more choices.

Awesome!!!!!!!

Can't wait to hear what the first female agent will look like. Will you have someone post sneak-preview photos of her, like was done with the current releases?

Thanks TheSceneUK Mike.

Dan
PS. I hope she looks like Scully. I hope. I hope.

The list is growing three months of research on the web and some 80 pics of which I like the look of.
