Hello all,

I'm in the middle of finishing some C-in-C Stukas (D models), and realized that I haven't the slightest idea of the correct colors for its bombs. I think they are the SC 500 and SC 250 models.

In illustrations I have seen them as dark green (which could be either RLM 70 or 71) and gray, which could be RLM 02, but I'd like to be sure.

Some light on this anticipatedly appreciated ;)

Externally carried bombs would be the same color as the bottom of the plane, so if you're painting the RLM 70/71/65 scheme paint the bombs RLM 65.

German bombs were a variety of colours…take a look at some aircraft mags for ideas.

Catfrog:

Thanks for the link. I've seen a few models with dark green bombs, as well as others with Hellblau bombs. I guess I'll just take my pick then ;)
