I think this option is disturbing. Let us consider what a poll is. Each and every poll concerns some burning issue that requires a sincere and accurate response. The safety and well-being of TMP relies on this. And this can only be achieved by a snap response. Herein lies Truth. So why are TMPers given the option to change their vote? So they can look at the results and morph in with the cool kids in the majority? Or change to the most unpopular category so they can look like a virtual Rebel without a Cause? I think we need a poll on whether this feature should go (and no changing your votes) |

Sometimes it is useful to be able change your poll option if you've possibly misunderstood the question or are persuaded by someone else argument. These sorts of things tend to come out in the discussion. |

Martin. If you are going to bring common sense and logic to this discussion we will get no where. |

I suggested this as a poll topic a while back. There are some interesting responses. TMP link |

Sorry, Cpt Apathy. I must have missed that one. Thanks for the link. |

Each and every poll concerns some burning issue that requires a sincere and accurate response. No, it doesn't and no, it doesn't. I think we need a poll on whether this feature should go No, we don't. |

I like this feature. Sometimes I misunderstand a poll. Other times I just want to change my mind after reading the valid points of other comment makers. (Swayed by the debate? Nothing wrong with that!) Other times I want to abandon my losing vote so that my vote will 'matter'. |

@ John, I am surprised you missed my tone of mockery. Hmmm, maybe I missed yours? @ Deucey. You get persuaded by argument on TMP? You are a rare and unusual person. |
