Just curious if anyone will admit to changing thier vote after reading the results of a TMP poll? Results could be…

Yes, once
Yes, sometimes
Yes, often
No, never
No, but I was tempted

Ambush Alley Games25 Aug 2009 5:20 p.m. PST

Yes!

Ambush Alley Games25 Aug 2009 5:20 p.m. PST

No!

Ambush Alley Games25 Aug 2009 5:20 p.m. PST

Maybe?

Lentulus25 Aug 2009 5:26 p.m. PST

I will if I find a post in the discussion area particularly persuasive.

redmist112225 Aug 2009 5:38 p.m. PST

No! Why should you, it's just a poll – no money involved…asking for honest opinion!

Lentulus25 Aug 2009 5:44 p.m. PST

Honest opinions can change; that is rather why we have discussions.

Boone Doggle25 Aug 2009 5:47 p.m. PST

Occasionally I realise I've misinterpreted the poll after reading the comments.

At least once I realised I misinterpreted the poll after seeing the results were the opposite of what I expected. One of those "positive question in the title but negative question in the text" polls.

The polls are not exactly carefully thought through or precisely worded.

Rudysnelson25 Aug 2009 7:07 p.m. PST

No I rarely see poll questions before they close.

No.

Syrinx025 Aug 2009 7:25 p.m. PST

I have only changed it due to a mistake with my choice on my wheel mouse or I realize from the comments I misunderstood the question/choices.

It is amusing though when your that 1% on the other side of the poll.

Regrebnelle25 Aug 2009 7:51 p.m. PST

No.

Zyphyr25 Aug 2009 8:08 p.m. PST

Rarely. Mostly on poorly worded polls where the discussion leads me to believe that I misunderstood at first.

nazrat25 Aug 2009 8:30 p.m. PST

Never. They aren't the boss of me!

Never.

I had noticed before, like at election times, that not everybody agrees with me.

That's okay, they're allowed to be wrong once in a while.

Sometimes, usually if I realise that I've misunderstood the poll.

"I will if I find a post in the discussion area particularly persuasive."

Be persuaded by a discussion? I can't think when something like that has happened.

Sometimes in the movie or book polls. If I have a few favorites and one has no chance but the other does I may switch. Or,if I didn't fully understand what the selections were.

Thanks,

John

No! Why should you, it's just a poll – no money involved…asking for honest opinion!

I'm not really sure why you would want to change your answer. Several of the responses above make sense. It just occurred to me while I was answering a recent poll and figured it would be worth asking and might be worth adding as a poll itself.

My answer would have to be Yes – Twice. Both times I misread the poll the first time around.

The polls are not exactly carefully thought through or precisely worded.

Surely not!

Steve Hazuka26 Aug 2009 4:44 p.m. PST

No, but if this ever makes it to a poll, I will certainly do so.

Captain Apathy27 Aug 2009 11:31 a.m. PST

I knew I could count on you John. : )
