Does anyone know of a good ruleset for modern police and SWAT type action? Level of detail doesn't matter: can be simple to complex.

Combat Zone

Ambush Alley..maybe even Force on Force if your bad guys are skilled.

Shockforce/Warengine fits the bill naturally.

For Police actions you probably want No Go Zone.

Killer B has Geezers Shut It for 60s-70s British thugery. He was working on a US oriented version too last I heard.

I actually ran modern crime games using the Warengine rules. There was an article in The Remnants Ezine on it along with some unit lists. If interested the article is still available.

I'd definately use CHain Reaction for that sorta stuff, and 3 is free as in beer
