WOW!! This color profile, from the Wings Palette website, shows a Ki-27 "Nate" of the 1st Chutai, 5th Sentai, on April 18, 1942, the day of Jimmy Doolittle's Tokyo Raid. It was one of the planes sent up to intercept the incoming B-25s: wp.scn.ru/en/ww15/f/1017/65/2/32 Kevin, what else can we say? Armaments in Miniature produces some outstanding 1/100 scale aircraft kits, and you, my friend, bring them to life! Thank you again for sharing your pics with us. |

By the way, I forgot to mention that Model Power makes a 1/100 scale B-25 Mitchell, but it's the later "J" model, not the "B" model that Doolittle and his raiders flew. Still, at 1/100 scale, it shouldn't make very much difference. |
