I'd love to find a complete range in 15mm, 20mm or even 25mm
but have yet to. Glad to see someone else likes this same style

D6, Do you have any comparison pics of the Rebel Minis Orcs next to a 15mm figure? Thanks. CC |

The closest thing I can think of would be the OOP orcs from Grenadier miniatures, but maybe mirliton will bring them back. picture First miniature on the left. picture First two on the left. picture |

Th Orcs from Mithril Miniatures are based on the Mcbride Orcs. They are in 28mm though. For example picture link The paintings from Mcbride are made for Middle Earth role playing game and CCG, published by ICE (and long out of print). |

Anyone got any experience of having these shipped over to the UK ? They look great and I think mthat I really "need" some ! |

Sorry. I should have mentioned that somewhere. By the way, D6 sent me a picture of the Rebel Minis Orcs next to 15mm figures and, I must say, even though they are 20mm figures, the proportions are so natural (not "heroic") that they could pass for large Orcs. D6, were you planning on posting that photo somewhere public, or would you be ok with me doing that? CC |

20thMaine: "Anyone got any experience of having these shipped over to the UK ? They look great and I think mthat I really "need" some !" You mean those awesome Rebel Minis Orcs? If so, this is what Mike has on his website: "Shipping Information: We charge a flat rate of $4.60 USD shipping for all orders in the US. I have had alot of emails and debates :) on international shipping. Well, I am happy to announce that all shipping, anywhere in the world, is just $4.60 USD US. One set or 20 sets, all at one flate rate of $4.60 USD US" rebelminis.com/info.html Hope this helps. By the way, I would love to find out whatever happened to the greens of the archers that were sculpted. Photo here: TMP link They would fit in perfectly with the ones being produced at the moment (since they were sculpted my the same gentleman): link Prince Albers Revenge: "I'd love to find a complete range in 15mm, 20mm or even 25mm

" I agree completely!!! Archers and command would just about do it, considering how many hand weapon poses come in the current Rebel Minis set: rebelminis.com/bagoorcs.html CC |

Thanks Cacique Caribe – I had looked on the web site for posting details though, just wondered if anyone had actually bought any in the UK and had any feedback on timescales (post would be a few weeks surface I'd guess – and I'm cool with that), ease of transaction etc. They sure are pretty figures. |

Post away CC, I picked up some Splintered light dwarves today I'll send you a pic of them in a few days next to the Rebel Minis Orc. |
Cacique Caribe | 20 Jun 2009 6:33 p.m. PST |
D6, Thanks. After you gave the ok, I went ahead and posted it here: link Could you tell me what 15mm figures those are, so I can attach that to the label? I really think that their normal/"realistic" proportions make them fit right in with 15mm as large Orcs. Don't you think? Thanks. CC PS – Someone should include them with these other comparison photos: link |

You might take a look at the new orcs Ben Siens did for me under Orcs. They might not quite work but I think the warrior pack might. I picked up some of Rebel's orcs and they work great as big 15mm orcs. David splinteredlightminis.com |

Have you thought about just cutting them in half and putting them on different legs
it seems the long straight legs adds a lot to their height, if you just put them on some crooked legs from black raven foundry it may make them a really good size. |
Cacique Caribe | 24 Jun 2009 10:45 a.m. PST |
Had not thought about doing that. Though is sounds rather drastic, I may experiment with one or two and see what happens. Either that, or try to use them are very large Orcs. :) Thanks. CC |
