Hi all Last months update TMP link Well May saw me change jobs (temporarily) to a less stressful and tiring role. This has allowed me to have less symptoms of my ME and therefore have managed to do more painting. I have let slip a little on the buying front. Painted 6mm – 180 – 6 x Portuguese bns and guns
10mm – 2 – Russian Kayushkas
28mm – 17 – 13 Victix, 4 Alban Bought (oops) 10mm – 3 (Cheap pendraken aircraft)
28mm – 48 (Free box of Perry French with my WI subscription + some WWI and Napoleonic Rifles)
54mm – 2 (cheap character figures that I fancy painting to see if my technique will look good to display them) Monthly profit – +148
Yearly profit – +529
Ready locker – 1085
Monthly target to do – +155 Junes Plan 1) Paint 4 battalions of 6mm French
2) Paint 28mm French (at least 18)
3) sort out 10mm stuff and prep
4) Resist shiny metal things…… All in all I am improving symptom wise and seem to be getting more life back so feeling much happier in myself which has helped with the painting side Keep up the good work one and all MH

A successful month for the pledge. Starting total for the month: +105.

Cranking it through to convert 15's to 25's, I find myself at +156 figures for the year. Not bad, but I can wipe that out with one web order, so I need to get painting! Also, I've been trying to wrap up one project per month. Success on this front, I have a Space Marine army that needed a few guys flocked and a few guys thrown into the dicard pile, did that and declare the Emperor's Pimps complete. And I haven't played 40K in well over a year, but at least the project is finished. |

I fell off again. Only 18 Empress Brits painted, but I am well into a large unit of samurai that will boost next month's numbers. Work and a new personal project are taking all my free time. Here's the Brits:

Bought: 20 Army of Dead (LotR) I bought these on a semi whim as I plan to play some War of the Ring sometime soon. With these I think it brings my unpainted total to about 90 or so, I began the year at 56 and just haven't moved it any lower. I also bought a small set of figures from Red Box Games (Tre Manor) last month that was ony three or so. My biggest goal is still to complete my basing and I got 0 of that done this as month as well. |

Correction I finished at 11.30pm on the 31/5/2009 thirty 28mm High Elf Spearmen for my Eldest son. I bought however another 9 plastic 1/72nd scale kits YTD

Finished adding some decals to my chimera's but never got around to finishing the paining details of the other tanks. Did start priming and blocking in the base colors on the last of my IG Praetorian Guard heavy weapons. I need 3 regular Praetorian troopers and I could add one more squad. Maybe some will pop up on ebay…. Bought more figures than I painted again though. Oops. |

This month has not been very good – it's the Exeter wargames show in May, and I invite the traders and help the B&B. Can get expensive! That aside, I painted or sold 10 eldar, 12 BB orcs, 8 misc 25mm, 2 cadian weapon teams, 8 15mm dark elves, 1 Air elemental, 1 Elfy type, 3 Maruader horsemen, 8 15mm zombies, 8 epic SM tanks, 8 15mm zombies, and 2 WFB Ogres. Sadly I bought 12 Brit infantry, 5 VSF characters, 4 buildings, 1 zombie, 12 Empire gunners, 8 BB humans, 2 Zoats, 1 Steam Tank, 10 chaos marines, LOTR Orc command and Balista, 2 Cadian banner bearers, GW Trees, 6 Warg Riders, and 1 LOTR troll. Total for May still down 29 15mm, but up 35 25mm+. Total for 2009 down 58 15mm and 18 25mm+. Some sort of progress… mind you, there's a Splintered Light order on its way to me as well… |
