Gentlemen, Below are some fine miniatures sculpted by TMP's Whiffwaff. [Cheering and shouts of 'Whiffwaff rocks!' can be heard in the background] What poses and equipment would be useful ? picture picture picture

They both look excellent! For both, it would be great if there was a variant using a heavier weapon. |

I would add some running and aiming poses. They look great |

In regards to the armored troopers. Much like Ivan, I would like to see one or two heavy weapons and some form of officer. Everyone has their own ideas about how to package groups of minis for sale, but you could do them individually if necessary. For the desert raider, more poses, but also maybe some form of special weapon. Something generic that could be used for a net gun of scatter gun etc would be nice. If these sell well, a lizard rider or two would also be welcome. Thanks a lot for working on these, Jeff |

How about some sort of a bug raider ? ;) picture |

How about some sort of a bug raider ? ;) Works for me since my Spugs need Allies. Jeff |

More cowbell . . . Now stop that with your SNL references . . . . we are having a very serious discussion about little tiny metal people and hope that you would show some respect! Jeff |

Oh, sorry, didn't realize this was a very serious discussion about little tiny metal people! I will say that the first fig looks like an original BSG cylon, and I'd like to see them in firing poses and advancing poses, also with close combat weapons. The second might be reminiscent of tusken raiders, and I would like to see them in the same poses as above. Heavy weapons would be cool too. Plus more cowbell and possibly an amp that goes to 11! Sorry, feeling a little silly today – perhaps too much rain and mildew in the brain, or perhaps I was struck by lightning and didn't realize it. We are on our third straight day of thunderstorms here! |

That desert raider could use some practical things: shovel, backpack, good old fashioned radio set, metal detector
that sort of thing would make for a useful mysterious ally. |

Some 15mm troopers armed with laser cats would be really nice. |

Ravens Forge 'Not BSG Cylon' ? He looked familiar to me
I was thinking rather 'Not Clone Trooper'
picture All the better, as the saying goes two greys with one stone. :D |

They both look great. I am more partial to the desert raider, personally. Kinda looks like a Fremen, if ya ask me. Need an officer type, replete with handgun and scimitar or saber. Also, more poses of basic infantry: advancing, firing, and charging. I'm not super-keen on kneeling or prone figures. A special weapon would be good, too, maybe some sort of squad automatic. The bug rider idea is a neat one, but you'd have to be very careful of that stinger
a worm rider would be good, too. |

Pole – I was thinking clone trooper, but then I went and looked up Cylon and found this: picture Missing the skirt and has some additional armor, but still a good sculpt either way. jwomack – Fremen? Maybe so – I hadn't thought about that. I still think they need more cowbell! |

I was thinking BSG bad guys, but wanted to not say the IP infringing name since some take offense. I have plans for them in silver and gold! Jeff |
Pole Bitwy PL | 03 May 2009 1:41 p.m. PST |
Fremen, now why didn't I think about that :D JWomack, the bug stinger is being reworked into a beam 'shooting' weapon as you can see in the following image, but there is going to be another, at least twice as long tail with multiple weapon choices [pincer, stinger or some sort of bug acid squirt weapon]. picture picture The 'Fremen' could also herd the floaters into combat

Ivan DBA | 04 May 2009 6:28 a.m. PST |
I'm not keen on the bug, but the floaters are cool. |

On the other hand, the evil Fremen ;) could have summoned a horrific living space anomaly

Cheers OttoMunoz, You will find them very soon on my website at polebitwy.pl, but send me an email [ sztab@polebitwy.pl ], so I will be able to post you a sample, once I receive them from the caster. Piotr |

For the desert raiders, I would like some some savage attack poses as well as skulking ambush poses (also useful for scouts, command, etc). Would it be possible to do a rider without a beast so that players could mount then on whatever they wished? For the trooper, some troopers with rifles and in neutral poses would be cool. -Eli |
