What scale?

WeeSparky18 Apr 2009 3:17 p.m. PST

15mm or so. Please note that the recent buy 2 get a third one free does not apply to the HM Mall Madness boardgame (three sets do qualify for free shipping though)

There was a recent post with links to photos of two of the sets being used to run a game at Cold Wars! this past March.

The mind truly boggles….

So would 28mm zombies look heroic scale in the mall, or merely oversized and clumsy and lost in some putt-putt miniature golf battleground?

28mm would look a bit oversized.

I posted a review on Amazon.com for this set.
I hope it is pubished and is not rejected by some Amazon editorial staff, although amazon.com reviews are not known or noted for coherence.
I will check for it periodically to see if there are any howls of outrage from fans of the Hannahverse.

Note that I have never seen it or handled it, but that has never stopped Amazon reviewers before. grin

I did see the very good battle report on TMP so understood the reference. But I still had to smile at "Hannah Montana (anything)…' being posted on the Horror board. :-)

Played it with my daughter a few weeks ago. It was 'fun', I told her, but the mind went reeling on how I could 'fix' the game…

When she say em eyeing it for terrain, she made it VERY clear that it was hers, and not for em to part out. I love my daughter.

How would the size of the game hold up with the figures from ZOMBIES!!! or Last Night On Earth?

Last Night On Earth figs are 28s, so would look oversized.

But I too am curious about Zombies!!! and 20mm figs.

The pictures in that Cold Wars report don't have any close ups, so I can't really see how much leeway there is above 15mm.

Does anyone have one of these on hand and could provide some measurents please?

How tall and wide are the shop doors?

What's the floor to cieling height of the first floor?

That would help calculations for a match with Zombies!!!

Oh, and I flagged OFM's review on Amazon as 'Helpful'
More folks should do this ^,^

I think I'm just going to break down and order this. If necessary, I can increase the height on the ground floor walls to raise the ceiling to look right with Zombies!!!

Now to find a good 20mm figure to convert for both the 'before' and 'after' Hannah Montana…. Any suggestions?

Aha. Following links at BoardGameGeek, found this article with pictures of the non-HannahMontana Mall with Last Night on Earth Zombies:

The Zombies!!! will fit better, but I still might raise the cieling. I'll bet that electronic talking thing in the game can be hacked….
