Man, that game sounds freakin' hysterical. Wish I could have been there. Mad props to the guy who killed himself to attract more zombies for revenge on his turncoat "buddies." That's one cool way to go out.

Sweet. Now to see if they go on clearance…

Ed, you're games are always such wonderful experiments in human nature.

Or they're brilliant demonstrations of human nature at it's worst.

There is something sad about middle aged men who cruise Toys R Us for wargaming ideas.
Also for those who would pollute the purity of the Hannahverse for sordid gaming.

Good job.

Doctor Bedlam23 Mar 2009 3:39 p.m. PST

Sad, my hairy red bahonkus. Only problem is that the mall security cops keep mistaking me for a pedophile.

That'uz a thing of beauty, Ed. I've had a dozen games like that -- including one in a mall (25mm mall floor plans from Steve Jackson Games) -- but 15mm zombie madness in a Hannah Montana mall game toy thing?

Inspired.

Got to see the Hannah mini. Funny for sure…

"Clean up on aisle… uh… EWWWW!" laugh

That was just freakin' awesome, Ed.

Wow! My daughter got the Hannah Montana Mall game for her Birthday last summer. I don't think she's played it more than once. I have a feeling it might come out of the closet when ATZ2 is released.

Tgunner23 Mar 2009 6:39 p.m. PST

Oh the horror… nearly everyone died. Even my niece! LOL!!

I was one of the players (it was me and a couple of others who agreed to take out the zombies quietly) in the quiet side of the mall. My niece (you get to see my bald head and her green shirt/arm in one pic) was doing pretty good and came pretty close to the dog. I'm sure this report will amuse her to no end (but then again, that's easy as she is 12).

Thanks for the write-up Ed!

Tgunner23 Mar 2009 6:40 p.m. PST

Oh, she was only 'slightly' outraged at our sacrilgeous use of Hannah Montana games… :D

Whatisitgood4atwork23 Mar 2009 8:15 p.m. PST

Heh heh. Sounds like a blast. Well done and good use of found toys.

[There is something sad about middle aged men who cruise Toys R Us for wargaming ideas.]

True, but is it any sadder than middle aged men who look on the net or wargaming books for theirs?

Good game, really inspiring.
I just might need to test this zombie thingy.
(Got two sets of 6mm zombies from Exodus Wars Yesterday…)

This was a great game. Ed ran it very well despite the crowd of players.

I did not shoot the other player in the back. You can't prove it. It was a misfire.

And worse than cruising Toys R Us, is cruising fabric stores for a good groundcloth. With a buddy. Who keeps making comments like "isn't this a lovely color?" or "this lace pattern is darling."

What's worse, cruising the toystore for cars, planes and good ideas or the DIY-store or shopping mall for survival equipment?
Do you check at the mall how balanced the sledgehammers and axes are and if various lopping, delimbing, knotting and trimming tools could work as a throwing weapon?

Don't get me started on chainsaws…

Sounds good, the report. For some reason downloaded PDF-files don't open for me on my computer anymore lately so I couldn't watch the show.

FYI, zombie fans— Amazon is offering a "buy 2 get 1 free" deal on Hasbro games, and has the HM Mall game for about $15. USD

Personal logo Parzival Supporting Member of TMP26 Mar 2009 7:16 a.m. PST

Bah… never mind. There are only 3 games you can get free, all travel editions. frown

But the Mall game is still $15. USD

Smokey Roan30 Mar 2009 11:55 a.m. PST

LOL! This thread, on the day my daughter subs for Smokey on TMP.

She saw it!

Now I have to buy 15mm zombies and that damned mall game!

:(

BTW, are those 1/87 scale ("HO") cars and vehicles?

Quadratus01 Apr 2009 5:01 a.m. PST

Great report. Brief but descriptive. Sounded like a everyone had a lot of fun.
