Catch the first glimpse of Rebel Minis 15mm Martian Sahadeen Insurgents on DROPSHIP HORIZON:

Really cool looking 15mm minis useful as Near Future insurgents, post apocalyptic scavengers, Sci Fi resistance or penal troops etc.

Cheers
Mark

$&%%@!!!!

This is the same issue I keep having with Rebel Mike and all his new releases!!!! I order something and a few days later the next really cool preview goes up. This is cruel in such a good way . . . . Now I will have to see what else I need once my Alien walkers arrive . . . . . .

I guess these would also be great for playing something like Necromunda in 15mm. I love the look, these are exactly what comes to mind when someone says futuristic scavengers.

Mike, are these coming out soon enough to add some to the Walker preorders? :)

Those look really great.

Mutant Q05 Apr 2009 11:00 p.m. PST

Very Nice. Does anyone besides me think that they would make good "free men" for scenarios set on a certain desert planet?

MWright06 Apr 2009 12:07 a.m. PST

why Sahadeen?

Mick A06 Apr 2009 2:09 a.m. PST

I'm with Mutant Q, really tempted to run the gauntlet of British customs and the post office now…

Mooseworks806 Apr 2009 7:58 a.m. PST

Those are cool.

Cacique Caribe06 Apr 2009 9:48 a.m. PST

"why Sahadeen?"

I think it's gotta be a cool play on words . . . "the great desert fighters" or something along those lines.

Did I understand correctly that you plan to have heavy weapons for the Sahadeen? What about vehicles?

Looking forward to the new stuff eventhough my wife and wallet are not! :)

JRacel06 Apr 2009 12:35 p.m. PST

They are on teh table right now.

Might just be me, but I think we would love to have a "Workbench" or "Works in Progress" section on your website so we know what we need to be saving our pennies for in the future. At the rate you are going we will be needing to rob some piggy banks, but we can at least start casing them for the job now if we know how much loot we are going to need. :)

As always, thanks for all the great new stuff and pushing the boundries of the 15mm frontier.

Jeff

Cyclops06 Apr 2009 12:49 p.m. PST

Personally, I see them as Special Forces or recce who've 'gone native'. They'll add a bit of variety to my NAC regulars. I'll certainly be picking up a few packs.

khurasanminiatures06 Apr 2009 12:52 p.m. PST

Those are so COOL! grin

Ivan DBA06 Apr 2009 2:04 p.m. PST

They will be joining my 15mm Genestealer Cult. Awesome figures!

McBane06 Apr 2009 2:15 p.m. PST

very cool…keep up the good work, great products all from you mike…

CPT Jake06 Apr 2009 3:30 p.m. PST

Very nice. Can you gove some descriptions of what their vehicles may be like? Some Mad Max beyond thunderdome type vehicles would look cool with these.

Top Gun Ace06 Apr 2009 6:12 p.m. PST

Given the face coverings, they appear to be equally suited to a desert, and snow-covered environment.

Cacique Caribe06 Apr 2009 6:34 p.m. PST

So … how soon?

CC

daddyslittlemen06 Apr 2009 9:28 p.m. PST

In all seriousness. Those are gorgeous. I will be buying them. Well done RebelMike.

@CC – I hope to have them up on the site this week.

@Cpt Jake- Most of the vehicles will be styled as Captured Earth Force vehicles, scavenaged Mad Max feel parts, ect. I am working with John on some ideas.

@Jeff- I have been swamped at work lately, so I have not had a bunch of time to get any workbench pics ready.. but I have been working with Mark at Dropship Horizon who has agreed to show off a bunch of Greens and works in progress.

Hopefully, when work calms down some, I'll have more time…

Thanks!
RebelMike

"@CC – I hope to have them up on the site this week."

Then expect yet another order from me later this week!!!

I don't know about you guys, but this feels like Christmas.

I more than understand the work issues. My hobby is the only thing keeping me sane right now . . . . . .

In regards to Dropship Horizon, that is a GREAT! place to provide information and I will look forward to seeing what's coming. Mark's site has been a very welcome addition to the pagers I have to vistit at least once everyday.

Thanks for the update and hope you and I both get some relief at work some day soon.

Can't wait to see the heavy weapons.

Cacique Caribe07 Apr 2009 6:50 p.m. PST

So . . . what 15mm regular troops out there are the closest to them in weapons and tech?

In other words, if you were to get them as resistance forces, what government troops will you have them fighting against?

CC

Cacique Caribe07 Apr 2009 8:52 p.m. PST

In other words, are they that futuristic in weaponry?

Cacique Caribe17 Jun 2009 7:14 p.m. PST

Mike,

I've just sent in my order for the EF "hard tops", the Sahadeen and the SAS Elites (these last are to supplement my Rebel Minis biohazard troops).

Thanks so much.

CC

Cacique Caribe22 Jun 2009 10:41 a.m. PST

Just received the order. Wow, those Sahadeen look absolutely awesome!

I can see how can easily be used as off-world resistance fighters and even as post-apocalyptic troops.

Now I'm debating which terrain to do first when I get home, either a Martian landscape or a set of post-apocalyptic ruins.

Thanks Mike!
