I have decided to get some Arrow Miniatures Wormric warriors to fight my Pig Iron Productions Heavy Infantry, and I was wondering what other worm or worm like figures are out there that could be included in a worm army.

Any ideas?

Riverbluff Wargames has mine:

Hope it gets produced in the near future.

I don't understand what's happening to my Flickr account, but here's a teeny tiny picture:

Well, those aren't really wormlike in the strict sense, are they? More at Cacique's giant pillbugs from another thread, actually. The most obvious really wormy/snakelike aliens are the Koralon from VOID and Urban War. The old VOID sculpts are at Scotia Grendel, the new UW ones at Urban Mammoth.

Anyhow, for further options… As per my usual suggestion, see this "alien tips" thread over at MJ12 Games forum:

I like the Wormric minis…

For 6mm I really like Baccus' Bloodworms for Command Horizon.

I hope someone produces CC's worm mini… it's nice.

DDM Purple Worm?

Saber6 is right on the money. The D&D miniatures Purple Worm makes an excellent addition to a battlefield. I have a couple of these figures. Here are some pics I found on the web.

The much smaller Reaper Purple Worm (available in metal and pre-painted plastic) also gives you some size options for ground-bursting action.

I'm thinking those Wormrics would make for some excellent, if terrifyingly large, 15mm scifi opponents… grin

I have the Mageknight metals version of these:

…as they are icky.

That D&D Purple worm is awesome! A definite must for my games, as are the Mageknight icky ones.

Heresy also make something I can use: Link

If CC's giant worm was in production, that would be useful too.

Thanks guys :-)

Nvdoyle, I would use the DDM with 15mm.

There was a nice Giant Desert Worm or some such coming out of the ground, Can't remember who made it. It was a big hunk o' metal.

Speaking of worm-y aliens, were there ever Sathar miniatures produced for the old Star Frontiers game? Those would make some cool 15mm or 28mm aliens.

One or two packs came out IIRC – they were biggish 25mm, although with aliens scale is always flexible.
