Could you not take a stock 15mm helicopter and do as the Rollong Stones suggest and "paint it black"? |
Cacique Caribe | 01 Mar 2009 1:54 p.m. PST |
G Dog, I have plenty of black paints . . . But WHO makes 28mm and 15mm choppers? And what helicopter TYPE is the one most typically associated with MIB issues? Blackhawks, or smaller types? CC |

For 15mm you can get 1:100 Blackhawk kits pretty cheap if you don't mind building plastic models: link For 2.50 you really can't go wrong
Alternately, QRF make 15mm helicopters in metal. Jake |

CC, Go look here – toysoldiersdepot.com Unless you are a detail fanatic, you can get helicopters here for less than $1.00 USD each, all they need is paint. |

A black hawk for me. You have to see Matakishis games in the cityscape to believe it, cracking game |

Just so you know, Comfy Chair makes the Men of G.O.D. (Governmental Occult Division) who are men in black. link link This month we are releasing the ones with Power Fists as well. |

FoV Blsckhawks in 1/48 are at my local Targets on a fairly regular basis. They are Army green, but as said above, paint it black. Good Luck Amalric |

Aha! Keeping it in the 1/72 range. For something on the larger end of the scale, how about a naval version of the Super Frelon? link On the other end of the scale, how about the Ka-50 'Night Hunter' or Ka-58 'Ghost'? The 58 has some really sleek lines. link link In 1/100 you've got a nice Blackhawk kit

If you can find the Airwolf helo model from TV show, it might work for 28mm. |

link New Ray plastics, varying in scale, for $11.60 USD each. |

CC – I found the same black helicopter in Matakishi's Area 51 scenario at a local Toys-R-Us store. It was part of their Fast Lane line of die cast vehicles and was around $10. USD
and after taking a quick peek at Toys-r-us I found similar ones here. link link link |

I use the New Ray 1/64 black Blackhawk, and the green one. I also use the Hongwell coastgaurd and fireservice rubber duckies. 28mm might be a little large next to them but I don't care. Most of my figs for these are 25mm moderns with 28mm aliens. Very cheap and pre painted, bonus! |
GeoffQRF | 02 Mar 2009 5:25 a.m. PST |
Alternately, QRF make 15mm helicopters in metal. The Blackhawk fuselage is resin with metal parts, only the Little Birds and other small helos are metal. |

Walmart carries some diecast Russian ones, e.g. with red stars outlined in white. They would be perfect for 15mm figs, since they are about 1/100th scale, by the looks of them. $3.00 USD per helo is a steal
