Definitely not as big as Godzilla . . .

Looks like a coelacanth with long two front "legs", doesn't it?

Now, if only there was a coelacanth model that could be altered and that would fit in well with 28mm figures . . .

I can't think of a figure that'd specifically work… did any toys ever come out based on the movie?

I'm pretty sure I've seen one of these stalking the hallways and around the tables. -

It usually grumbles about facing colors and the historical accuracy of the number of rivets on the War of Jenkin's Ear kettle drummer's instruments.

The Host was a good monster movie…took the risk of showing the monster upfront, loved that.

CC I think you are on track with the coelacanth.

Oh yes – The movie. ;)

I'm thinking about the one lurking in the Lancaster Host. ;)

hehe ;)

I had some sugar this morning, don't mind me.

The closest thing I have seen is an Ultraman monster called Gesura. But the figures I have seen of him tend to be around 6"

Yeah, that movie was Korean… and either the Koreans aren't as big on merchandising their monsters, or the products don't seem to get over here. Hell, I had to pirate the movie in order to see it at all…

Great flick …needs a Mini of the monster

Odd… a search of Google and Ebay hasn't found *any* toys or statues of the monster. If I understand correctly, the movie broke records at the box office overseas… I would have thought that there'd be resin kits, statues, toys or something out there already available.

Here's the only one I've found – a "mutation" at Resin Realities:

But it's $110 USD and almost two feet long…
