In another topic, I asked for help finding 10mm figures in tricorn that might work as early-war Mississippi troops. TMP link The suggestion from clibinarium recommending Russian SYW figures from Pendraken was a good one. Yesterday, my Pendraken order arrived and the tricorns are exactly what I've seen in period photos. A few minor details can be filed down or cut off (such as ponytails, etc.) I am very pleased. Thanks, clibinarium! I may not have to perform a head swap after all. Regarding Pendraken, this was my first order with them. Service was excellent and delivery was very timely -- nine calendar days from the UK to the US. In addition to the SYW figures, I ordered ACW figures, which have good, raised detail. Looking forward to painting them. |
