I now Peter Pig make these, but would like to know if anyone else does too? Does anyone make a large and imposing Blackbeard figure in this scale? Scale creep would obviously be appreciate here, since apparently he was about 6'5" tall, where the average man of the day stood only about 5'6" tall. Thanks,

You've mentioned PP, but you know there's a Blackbeard type in their range? |

Hi guys, Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if he was done by them, or not. Hopefully, he is a little larger than the other figs. Tom, glad to hear you are doing them. I read an old reference to a 15mm, and possibly a 25mm pirate ships range by you. Are they in production, and available? Best regards,

I found some more info on 15mm Pirates on TMP. Thus far, it appears that the following make them, or gov't troops compatible with the Pirates: Peter Pig East Riding Minis Minifigs (GFI) Museum Eureka Grumpy Minis Dixon Essex Merrimack (Old Glory now?) J&T |

As Tom mentioned, GFI/Minifigs has a Blackbeard figure in their Pirate Captain rage. Greg P. |

I would be careful with the period you are trying to model and the dress in that period. For example I believe the Peter Pig range while extremely nice figures fit the early 18th Century better than the mid to late 17th century. |

Minifigs and Museum make nice pirates to go with PP. |

I guess this could be the basis for a smaller scale version of my PVD idea . . . TMP link CC |
