Last month I finished the first of 12 Bronekaters TMP link

I just finished the remaining eight models. The resin kits are about 8.5 inches long and consist of roughly 30 pieces. These Bronekater kits differ from the previous batch in that they have later model T-34 turrets and four of them have the option of replacing the rear gun turret with Katyusha rocket launcher.

Armaments in Miniature makes these kits armamentsinminiature.com . I recommend contacting Dave Schmid, at AIM, if you're interested in the kits.

Here are some pictures of theses two variants. Kevin

Might I inquire as to what you intend to do with *12* of the things? Hold regattas?

Those look cool – do you have a scenario in mind? Or are they purely for the fun of building them? I suppose one could do some pulp boat racing similar to Pod Racing from that movie with the boats or even a pulp game with them.

Mserafin, it's a nasty little surprise for Fritz. Not only do they have turrets and rockets but they carry a platoon of marines. 12 ought to be enough boats to get a battalion of marines into the fight. That big river is no longer a big obstacle, it's a big avenue of approach. ;)

Jovian1, they are definitely for gaming, although I did enjoy building them. They went together like tanks but without having the tedious repitition of the suspension.

Those are really nice. Thanks for posting the pics.

These are very nice indeed! Wondering about the price however, since I don't see them on the AIM site.

Dave at AIM posted on the original thread:

Kevin does a great job of painting these models doesn't he? As for the cost of the Bronekater BK-1125 models, there are four (4) different versions available. The early version with a T-28 turret, a mid version with a T-34 M1942 turret and late version with a T-34 M1943 turret all cost $30.00 USD USD each. The fourth version is a support version with Katyuska rocket launcher and that version costs $35.00. I am sorry but these models are not up on my web site and you would need to contact me directly at aim-schmid@comcast.net

Dom,

Thanks for that. Not a bad price at all, may have to pick up a few.

I bought 2 of these based on the original post and these pics will be very useful as a reference and the finished model looks great, thanks.
