Armaments in Miniature armamentsinminiature.com has some very nice 15mm (1/100 scale) WWII Soviet River/Gun Boats. The resin kits are about 8.5 inches long and consist of roughly 30 pieces. A couple of variants (different main gun turrets or rocket launcher) are available. I glued magnets to the turrets and steel nails in the hulls so that I could swap and rotate the turrets.

If you're interested in the kits I recommend you contact Dave at AIM (link above).

Here are some links to some before and after pictures.

Could you snap a pic of the magnets and nail mounting you used? I was planning on going down that road as well…

Thanks!

Art, I was thinking of saving the magnet pics for a workbench article but since you asked… picture

The picture shows 1/16 inch magnets. Although they will hold the turrets in place (sideways or upside down) I switched to 1/8 inch magnets for most of the turrets. Kevin

Kevin does a great job of painting these models doesn't he? As for the cost of the Bronekater BK-1125 models, there are four (4) different versions available. The early version with a T-28 turret, a mid version with a T-34 M1942 turret and late version with a T-34 M1943 turret all cost $30.00 USD each. The fourth version is a support version with Katyuska rocket launcher and that version costs $35.00. I am sorry but these models are not up on my web site and you would need to contact me directly at aim-schmid@comcast.net

Kevin,

Thanks for posting the assembly pic – definitely know my plans will work well now.

Thanks again!
