Help!!!

I know there have been one or two cartoon films with piggy-type "orcs" but, for the life of me, I can't remember which!!!

There was an animated "The Hobbit" years ago. Also, if memory serves, there were Pig faced orc types in at least one Disney movie, maybe "Sleeping Beauty".

It was probably Disney's "The Black Cauldron" film.

Not a movie, but the old Dungeons and Dragons TV cartoon had piggy faced orcs! Proper cartoon villains they were too: mean and stupid.

"Disney's 'The Black Cauldron'"?
"old Dungeons and Dragons TV cartoon"?

Hmmm, interesting. I never saw those two.

You are welcome. Its nice to know the old memory still works from time to time!

CC – don't bother. Maybe you can find enough on Youtube to satisfy your curiousity, but really, there are better things to do with your time than watch that putrid old D&D cartoon.

>that putrid old D&D cartoon

which has been released on DVD!

The Otherworld figures talking to you C.C.? I know their wispering in my ear. Just hope Otherworld is tempting the copyright laywers.

I have to admit, those figures are downright tempting…

Actually I think the Rankin & Bass orcs looked like cross between a toad and shaved pug with tusks.

Thank you, Wehrmacht! Didn't know that had been released!

I really, really enjoyed the old D&D cartoon.

Sure, it's aimed at 10-year olds, but I was 10 when it came out… lots of nostalgia value there.

This isn't from the Hobbit film, right?

Isn't that meant to be Merry and Pippin after being captured at Amon Hen?

And I never realised that there was a sequel to Ralph Bakshi's Lord of the Rings.

I'd like it just for completeness. Anyone seen it?

Ok. I don't know why, but the link above doesn't work for me now.

Let's try again:

I seem to remember in Disney's "Sleeping Beauty",that the witch Malificent had some goons that fit the aforementioned description.
