Here are my quasi-colonial troopers to do battle with my pseudo-Giger aliens. They are a mix of eM4's Future Skirmish:

and Copplestone Casting's Future War range:

I think they mix very well.

Absolutely beautiful paint job!!!

I am jealous. Mine are still unpainted somewhere in a box back home.

Very inspiring indeed.

I like them! Nice work. What aliens are you going to use?

Plynkes11 Oct 2007 3:42 a.m. PST

Didn't Mark Copplestone sculpt some figures for eM4? If so, that would explain why they mix well.

Excellent work there, makes me want to pull out the 'ol paintbrush and get my stuff done!

mweaver11 Oct 2007 6:24 a.m. PST

I think he did.

Nice-looking force, Panzefaust.

Yes I have both ranges the EM4 are slightly more slight, heads a bit smaller as are torsos and the weapons are a bit more GW than his later sculpts I mix them in with my Not Starship troopers and they look fine

The EM4 figures were the original Grenadier UK figures that Copplestone scultped for their Future Wars range back in the early 1990's.
The recent figures that he is selling under his own name are the original figures reworked with different weapons, heads etc. Both are excellent.

I really love the look of those EM-4/Copplestone troopers:

I think I finally have one of each in the range.

Panzerfaust,

How many figures (troopers and aliens) are you planning on having on each side?
