Does anyone make this??? I was painting some of Brigade Games Pulp/Ship Captain types and they look perfect to battle the "Creature." |

I can think of plenty of "fish man" models, but none that are that close a match to the movie monster. Reaper in particular makes a variety of different looking fish folks. |

Reviresco makes ones that are close. However, they're stuff seems to run small. |

Reviresco's the closest match I know of. Maybe we'll get another one when Scott makes a "Chaos in the Amazon" expansion for the Goal System games. :) |

HHMMM a suggestion for Pulp figures

Well, let's remember folks that Universal Studios still owns the copyright to "The Creature." So making that figure would mean either paying a license fee (something I'm sure Bob Murch would rather not do), or making something as close to it as he thinks he can get away with, and then calling it "The Dark Water Critter" or some such. Otherwise, however, I am all for it, and preferably in two poses, viz 1) Stalking about, rampant, and 2) swimming in a horizontal pose with the possibility of mounting him on a wire, rather as if he were "flying." This way, a table top representing the bottom of the Lagoon could be made for "3D" play. Of course, this would also require figures in scuba (single regulator, double hose!), and a free swimming Heroine figure as well. In fact, it would require double poses for all these (standing on land/deck, as well as the diving poses). I have the rules for this stuff, but the figures are another matter! Hey, Bob, are you crazy enough? TVAG |

I bought a painted plastic one at Historicon several years ago. Still in storage, so really not too helpful here

I posted a similar question a while back. Somebody steered me towards a Mage-knight "Deep Spawn" (I am not positive that's the name exactly.) I re-based and primed it and here it sits on my workbench
waiting to be painted like all of my other pet projects. One of these days I will have my monster squad!!! |

Rborges, Nice figure. link Though I really wish that those prepainted plastic figure manufacturers made more than a single pose of each race. CC |

The Creature Rocks! In November, Silver Springs (where they filmed it) has "Creature fest" a weekend symposium on the movie, and Rico Brown attends, and you can get a pic of your GF/wife in a bikini, with the creature holding her up in the costume!! Oh Jill Adams!!! I would sure pay for a figure!! |
