Interesting writer:

And a very useful resource. Here are some examples:

Pillcu Ranpa (Scarlett Litter)

Quispi Ranpa (Crystal Litter)

Day of the Dead (Mummy Litter)

I found this interesting too, and seems to rely on the same sources:

Pretty much. I don't think there are any other sources to be frank?

BTW, did you notice on the second link to the quispi rampa, that the Inca was actually dead?

In 15mm, Minifigs make the pillco rampa, Naismith the quispi rampa and the mummy litter.

Yes! But is the rest of the family already dead too?

The Incas did not have writing and left little or nothing in the way of monumental artwork and other artistic artefacts so we are almost entirely reliant for our information on a few post-conquest manuscripts most of which were compiled by Spaniards.

Nonetheless, unless we assume everything shown in those sources was entirely made up (and why should it be?) they do provide a seemingly realistic and accurate impression of the clothing and equipment of Inca life and warfare.

If you review these sources you will see that the Naismith figures are directly copied from them and make a great Inca army despite the relative lack of variety of poses, etc. (I have an Inca army for DBA using Naismith figures.) Incas are not as colourful or varied as Aztecs; even so they make an interesting army and can do well in the right terrain.

The Horrible Histories book "The Incredible Incas" is a useful, readable account of Inca life and the Spanish invasion.

Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala would be happy with this new development in figures:

Man, though I really wish there were additional illustrations from that period, Guaman's are some of the best:
