Hey CC:

This sculpt is looking very good and has very naturalistic textures. In particular, I like the cracked earth base and the spikes along the sides.

Again, it's a very nice sculpt. After all of this hard work, I hope you are going to make a set of molds and cast 'em in resin. It would be pain to scratch build a herd of these beasties!

As you can see . . .

I still need to finish up the inside of the mouth and the inner side of the jaws. These pieces are separate, so that they can be done fully open.

Furthermore, the neck still needs to be filled in.

My goal is to make the neck and head section removable, so that it can be used as a head bursting from the ground.

As for resin casts, I like the idea.

I may pursue doing that, once I get to that bridge (which might be sooner than I initially expected)!

Pretty cool sculpt, looks very much like the ones in the film.

Looking very good so far. You've certainly got the shape right, and the detail on the body looks spot on.

That would look great with the jaws you have made.

Nice sculpt.

That is looking great! The little spkies for movement are excellent.

Like the Thermians too. Are those your sculpts or DWW's?

Thanks. The Thermians were actually my very first try at sculpting anything.

Thanks for the encouragement!

I'll try to have it completed by the end of this week. I'll post photos, of course.
