If you're as fond as I am of Pig Iron SF stuff, you should have a look at their workbench : link |

Can the heads sprues be purchased separately? CC |

I knew I had seen the TMP announcement recently: TMP link CC |

They look very nice indeed. I look forward to adding them to my CoW forces. |

Simon's previous comment on the head sprue pack question: TMP link With the sprues already in the works, I hope these are included in his separate sale plans as well. CC |

sorry CC, I missed that announcement ! |

Penchour, I'm actually glad that you started a discussion thread on this. That way, unlike News topics, this way we can search and find it in the future. Thanks. CC |

My pleasure : I remember a 2hours investigation to recover an old news topic
not an experience I'd like to go through once more ;p |

Yup. They look nice. I will probably buy some of their original line first, once I catch up on SciFi painting a bit. |

MWeaver, FYI – Their infantry booster pack is fantastic: link CC |

The 10 man reinforcement pack figures were a big improvement on the original troopers and these look even better. I'll finally have some opponents for my old Marauder Miniatures space orcs! Add in a wardroid or 2 and maybe a few Grymn (allied troops – they look real good next to the PigIron line troopers) and away we go! |
Red5angel | 16 Mar 2007 2:09 p.m. PST |
they look good. I wish the 'heavy bolter look' would go away. The fastest way to ruin the look of a miniatures line is to have some guy carrying a big block of metal from the top with a barrel sticking out of it. |

Those head sprues are really cool! |

Great miniatures! – but how about a sprue without so many close-face helmets? Maybe some "open face" helmets? It would be nice for those of us looking for a more generic look to our forces. Will buy these, but I am not sure I will use the heads as often. |

While the big block of metal gun is not my favourite, my favourite 28MM scifi guns (Infranites from Legions of Steel) all had the teeny tiny barrels break off the main body of the rifle. Bolter-style is much better for wargaming since it's way sturdier. |

Latest from Simon at Pig Iron about the head sprues. CC ---------------------------------- Hi Dan, Regarding heads – when I've released the first pack of Kolony rebels I will start to get head sprue master moulds done of all the different heads I've done so far. People seem keen on them so its worth a go. |

Excellent news. I wonder if they'd look good with the VOID plastic figures that I've been using Cadian helmets on. |

dammit – they've solved the leg problems, now bought out these Kolonists – I'll have to give in and buy some now. I need more 28mm sci-fi like a fish needs a bicycle! :-( |
