Pretty good price there. You can often get real bargains on ebay figs that require alittle DIY work – people mark them down a lot, and there are fewer opposing bidders than normal.

And it's sometimes worth a gamble when the photo is really bad, but you think the figure might be worth it.

Anybody have an ID on the figure?

How much is metal and how much is plastic? It looks like a kitbash to me – the legs (if they're plastic) might be from the Possessed CSM sprue.

By its light weight, I'm guessing it's all plastic.

Ah, definitely a kitbash using parts from multiple plastic sprues then. The legs are definitely Possessed CSM – lower center image on the GW web store. The arms and back spike are probably from the Loyalist SM Close Assault Termninator set – I don't think the CSMs ever got a plastic lightning claw arm, but not certain. The other parts are probably all CSM bits, but they could be from any of several sprues.

One thing to be said for GW, their modular plastic kits may be time-consuming to assemble but they sure do lend themselves to making customized minis.

I suggest painting the base black or gray that matches the stuff on top. I think it will be more neutral, making the red on the marine more dramatic.

But it looks prety good otherwise.

The legs are indeed from the possessed sprue. The lightning claws are from one of the Space Wolf sprues. The head is from a Forge World Khorne berzerker terminator.

Nice purchase and recovery effort! Might I suggest some weathering on the claw tips? It would look cool of there was chipped paint to show the metal below.
