Nicely done, Bill!

I've got oodles of black ants in my project bin, as well. I plan to use them for 2e BattleSystem (1e/2e AD&D mass battles rules) as they are heavily armored, giant ants. I tried mounting them individually to bases, but that was ridiculous, considering how many of them I have, and how much work it would be to move each ant, individually…

Your beetles look nice. Did you paint them with nail polish, by chance? LOL! I posted about using metallic chip/glitter nail polish on beetles, on TMP, some years ago.

Nice army, complete with aerial units -- the flies! Sounds like they have some form of artillery, as well, with the acid hurling Scorpions. I have some rubber-like Scorpions in my fantasy collection of monsters, as well. I did not paint mine, as I knew acrylic paint would never stick. I Hot Glued mine to their MDF bases, and so far, they are sticking.

Looking forward to reading/seeing your battle reports with this army! Cheers!
