Pretty good looking army. If memory serves, there were elk riders or chariots or something. Are there still mounted with this army?

You might be thinking of the reindeer chariots of the Barbarians?

The Wild Elves have mounted archers.

$4 USD per figure in 15mm? That seems really, really high. Sri Lankan services will give you that quality for $1 USD or less per figure.

I think you haven't checked Sri Lankan prices lately…

Fernando is $1 USD/figure collector quality, and I just had a ton of medievals done about 6 months ago at this price that looked great, with shield designs and barding as well. They offered to do LOTR GW figures at $4 USD each at a decent collector level.

Horse archers! That's it! I think I was getting confused with the Barbarian chariots.

I would have thought this was equivalent to Fernando's 15mm showcase quality, which is $2 USD per figure. But I like both companies, and they both paint for TMP (and advertise here).

What's the difference to call them wild elves instead of wood elves? Or am I just thinking into this too much?

Well, Mr. Editor, I DO think you do all of us a favor when you have tried out different services, or different glues or whatever, and posted the results--so don't think I was trying to be too critical. I am going to experiment with epoxy for the first time soon, for example, because of your posts. I had been curious about Old Guard for awhile because of their past sales on ebay.

I think they are supposed to be the elven equivalent of barbarians.

I like the pine tree/spear point symbol on the shields and such.

@Sargonar- I think it is the unspoken fear of Games Workshop threatening law suits if one uses a name that they are using for an army; even if it didn't originate with GW in the first place.
