Continuing with our Amazon project, we've previously shown you the Axewomen and the Nude Hoplites, and now we show you the Nude Phalangites. These figures were donated by Eureka Miniatures, and painted for TMP by Fernando Enterprises to match a prototype figure painted by Beowulf . I did the basing and flocking.
There are four poses in this set:
Pose #1

This figure wears a Corinthian-style helmet and greaves, and carries a shield.

Her feet are bare, and her hair is braided.

The spears are held leveled, and have a grounding butt.

This figure is similar to the previous pose, but with the weapon elevated.

The weapons are leveled.
Pose #4

This pose is again similar to the first pose, except that the helmet is pushed back onto the head.

"Nude phalangites"
The weapons are leveled.

"Nude phalangites"
The shields have been left plain for now, and will be completed later.
Mixed Poses
Photo blocked by adult filter:
"Nude phalangites"
Here the four poses are shown together. Ranking the figures is a challenge, and I need to figure out how they best go together. For now, I have used pose #2 for the back row, but I don't have enough of that pose for an entire unit.
