Another 'small' project today, as I've based up some scouts for my Amazons.
As I wrote previously, I've added a class of elite archers to my army. Being elite, I only need three stands of them – easy project!
If you buy the army pack from Rebel Minis, two types of Amazon archer figures are mixed together to make archer stands. I'm splitting them up to have Maiden Bow and Scouts separately.
I am basing these for Mighty Armies, and the usual basing currently is three figures on a 1" x 2" plastic base. (The original armies were four figures to a base, but the new publisher switched to three figures, which I think works better.)
These figures were painted by our friends in Ukraine, Old Guard Painters.
I based the figures myself, and added LITKO FlexSteel on the bottoms for storage purposes.
The figures were originally produced for Armies of Arcana, then were picked up by Lone Gunman Games, but that company is having difficulties and their online store is currently closed.
