This is my Wild Elves army, based for Mighty Armies. They used to be Dark Elves, I believe, under a previous manufacturer. All of these figures come from the Wild Elves Army set in the Mighty Armies line, sold by Rebel Minis – this is several sets combined together, plus the Treeman pack.
Here are two command stands.
I put four figures on one base, and three on the other, so that I can distinguish them as general and sub-general when I need to.

The Elves with the white spears are the newest addition to the army, and they are based the current Mighty Armies standard: three figures per base.
Here you can see newly painted (front) and previously painted (back) figures (same sculpts, different painters). The older figures were previously featured in Showcase, and are based to the old standard of four figures per base. Number of figures per base doesn't matter in Mighty Armies, so it's just what you think looks best. And I can always say they are light and heavy spearmen, or from different tribes.
The army set provides more archers than spearmen, but I bought some figures secondhand, which is why my archer contingent is much smaller than my spear contingent.

Here are nine stands of Elf Cavalry.
Again, the original cavalry – previously featured in Showcase – are based to the original standard of four figures per base, on the small bases provided with the original boxed set; the newly painted figures are based three per base, the current standard in this game system, and I went with large Mighty Armies bases (2" x 2") due to length of the models.
The two styles of cavalry basing allow me to field them as light or heavy cavalry, or cavalry from different tribes. The base with only two white horses can be used as a unit leader, if needed.
Count them… the 'old' ones are 16 horsemen in 8 square inches; the 'new' white horses are 14 models in 20 square inches.
