4,000 pts of Khorne Chaos Warriors (me) vs. 5,000 pts of Lizardmen (no big characters). Scenerio was Plague Fleet of Chaos Warriors land in Lustria to attack the Temple of Urk-Nok and recover a lost Daemon bound by a Slann Mage Priest. Lizards came on in d3-1 units per turn, with 1,500 starting temple guard and asorted skinks. 6 turn game, started well for me but I was slow due to no calvary. By the time I was getting into combat the turns were against me and most of his army was deployed. The end result was I was "pushed back" by turn limits, we aggreed the entire city would have been alerted and enroute after the 6 turns. A fun game, but too much distance to cover on foot. We played on a 6'x10' table. First time here, no suggestions. Like that you view all games as playable and fun, I play WFB mostly due to proliferation, but Battle Storm and Battle System are both fun, too. [8 Nov 1999] |

I played a Demonworld game with my Imperium army against one of my best friend who have a Bear Thain army(they are barbarian). He tried to go to close combat but my bowmens and guns were not agree. Those barbarians were fast all dead when they finally arrive to fight. I won it was a great game [3 Nov 1999] |

My orcs were holding their own against the hordes of Chaos in front of them when my General and his Boar Boyz decided to turn tail and were cut down by some plaguebearers, with that the rest of my army freaked out and headed for the hills, another loss by the massively cowardly orcs and gobbos. Huge battle of 10,000 pts per side with 3 players a side. It was a WFB games with Chaos, Chaos Dwarves, and Beastmen verses Dwarf and empire. The good guys won (Chaos that is). [18 Sep 1999] |

I am currently running a map-based Warhammer Fantasy Campaign, with armies from Dwarves, High Elves, Wood Elves, Chaos Dwarves, and Lizardmen. So far: Dwarves: 0-0 High Elves: 2-0 Wood Elves: 2-1 Chaos Dwarves: 0-2 Lizardmen: 1-0 [15 Sep 1999] |

A horde of demons had been terrorizing a local village, and the humans in the area had all fled. The demons were beginning evil rites to summon their master, when the scene was charged upon by the secretive newt-people of the nearby swamps. It was a medium sized battle using Clan Wars rules and all Warhammer miniatures. [15 Sep 1999] |

I played a 6000pt game of Armies of Arcana. I played dwarves while my husband played Arabian knights. I defeated the Arabians in 8 turns by using 4 blocks of 25 pike men to disrupt his fast calvalry and carpet riders. I out maneuvered his units and destroyed his two thirty men archer units and captured his two victory hill objectives. I recommend to any player of Armies of Arcana to use large pikemen blocks with heroes to stop the maneuverabiltiy of the fast arbabian calvalry who move at 18 inches plus a turn. I have only played Armies of Arcana twice but I enjoy it more than Warhammer fantasy battle because it is played till victory objectices are captured instead of the 4 to 6 turn style of Warhammer game. THis allows more manueverablilty on the board and the army lists are more competitively matched in Armies of Arcana. [05 Sep 1999] |

WFB game (more skirmish than "mass combat", in my opinion...) Wood Elf archers can gun down almost anything before it even gets to them. Bloody game vs. lizards. [04 Jun 1999] |

Lizardman vs Orks & Goblins. This was a 2500 point meeting engagement, including six wizards/shamans who did nothing but dispell each others spells. he battle started with the gobo wolfriders hitin a unit of skink cold ones and a chariot hiting a unit of saures's. The saures's took 30% losses but destroyed the carriot/woves and crew. The cold ones and wolfriders tied and continued to battle for the rest of the game(final tally 5 dead cold ones, 9 dead wolfriders withonly the latters chapion left alive. Two units of skinks and a stegladon attacked (and failed to break)the orks core unit of savage ork boarboys, shaman and general. After three turns of brutal combat only the ork general and the stegladon (the skink riders had all died) were still standing. In the meantime the Slann general and temple guard attacked and routed a unit of gobo spears and black orks. The last turn ended with the stegladon standing over its dead masters, the ork general mopping up a loan terradon the wolfrider champion was hiding from the second rampaging Slann. The Slann general was involved in hth with a group of ogres. With 85% of both armies litering the field as casualties the two exausted generals counted up points and the lizardmen won by only 5 points. [03 Jun 1999] |

Was at a tournament. I played my dwarfs against an Undead opponent. Took a bound dragon and Ogre Allies. The main combat took place between my General and his hammerers agains his Skeleton Cav with his Vampire General. I was able to 'pin' his cav unit by allowing them to charge a small unit of Slayers. The Slayers tied them up long enough for me to move my big hammerers unit with the general against his. The combat took three bloody turns, but I eventually killed all his skeletons, wights, and wraiths, Caused his Vampire to flee, and to add insult to injury the last remaining slayer, chased him down and killed him in the pursuit. Glorious. My Dragon survived combat against his dragon and my Ogres we're killed by breaking from combat and being overrun themselves. I won the battle convincingly, notwithstanding. [2 May 99] |

It was a Demonworld game. I had a Imperial army. My opponent had elves and I lost. He was lucky and his strategy was better. [22 Apr 99] |

Started A WFB campaign with a Night Goblin army. Only one magic item COC by default. One unfotunate shamans whoose head keeps blowing up. 5 battles fought. 5 battles one. The NG army is now the biggest in the campaign. Unfortunately only contains 4 character models and one magic item. Mind you having 5 charriots and a pump wagon helps!! [15 Apr 99] |

Last fantasy game was a Warhammer version merge of the 2nd and 4th editions. Worked pretty well. The Battle pitted the Orcs and against the High Elves, with the Orcs simply decimating their opponents. They managed to put the three Tiranoc chariots out of action with good maneuvering and use of terrain, and the masses of goblin archers actually took their toll on the Elven archers so that they were whittled down before the main Orc line advanced. Found out that small cheap Goblin groups are great screens, animosity being the one big disadvantage. [13 Apr 99] |

We fought a multiplayer battle with 6 players and 6 different armies having 3 armies to a side. I used my Samurai army supported by a few Bakemono and Oni. The other armies included dwarves, elves, undead and other humans (medievals). Game lasted about three and a half hours with the dwarves, elves and undead defeating the three human armies. Yes I lost. [7 Apr 99] |

My Dwarves shredded a Bretonian army. First by shooting half their army dead with crossbows and organ cannons, and then by chopping them up with a unit of Miners and Iron Breakers. I can't wait for the Middle Earth Battle System. [6 Apr 99] |

I was playing WHFB using my orcs, who were allied with a lizard man army. We were fighting an allied wood elf/Empire army. each army had 1500 points. I had a unit of Savage Orc boar boy, some Savage orc archers that were skirminshig a unit of night goblins w/2 fantatics, a bolt thrower. I had the left wing of the army. My skirmishers hid my boar boys and my Night goblins had my right flank of the BB. My Boltthrower killeda giant eagle but later died to a general/griffion from the Empire. My whole line went forward. My skirmishers were getting whittled down my WE archers and a treeman smacked into my BB unit. Next round the Empire's griffon/general hit my BB unit and and got killed., I broke the treeman and pursued. Later hitting a crossbow unit and a spear man unit. My ally the lizard man didn't do squat but run away from a steam tank that was chasing him. My orcs pretty much won the battle. [26 Mar 99] |

The last game that I played was Warhammer Fantasy. We played a small campaign. I went undefeated the entire campaign. The reason I like Warhammer so much is because of the awesome citadel minatures that go with the GW hobby. [25 Mar 99] |

PLayed Brett. vs. Undead in a campaign battle. was TOTALY destroyed!!! A very common occurance for me with Warhammer. Lost most of my good magice items early in the campaign, and that contribiuted greatly to the result. I must say that although I play mostly Warhammer, it doesn't mean I like the game all that much. Too distructive among other things. [24 Mar 99] |

It's been a while - the last game was trying 5th edition Warhammer Fantasy Battles to see if it had improved. Still looking. [23 Mar 99] |
Chris Craft |
My last game was Warhammer Fanatasy, I was The left flank of the army. I had about 1200 pts. of Empire and fought off about 3000 pts. of Dark Elf and Goblins. The highlight of the game was when Ogres charged my poor halflings. The Ogres failed to hit and my halflings hit several times in return and cause two wounds. Unfortunatly my opponent rolled two 6's for save thus forcing a tie on wounds caused. The fight between the Ogres and halflings would have been written about for centuries to come if only my opponent didn't roll boxcars. Just think, halflings running down routing Ogres. [16 Mar 99] |
