Dire Dead Kicking Halfling Butt! [9 Apr 99] |
William V. Grand |
The last game we played was a battle between the Buggers and the Undead (Dire Dead). The Buggers is an army I created using the Genestealer figures from Space Hulk and used the ruleset to create a usable army. The Buggers were able to close fast and the fighting was furious. Unfortunely they did not have any mages and the die rolls turned against them. Soon it became a rear-guard action. [7 Apr 99] |

A real slaughter for the other side. Heros die hard but if you kill them fast, it take out the heart of your opppnent. [8 Apr 99] |

We fought a multiplayer battle with 6 players and 6 different armies having 3 armies to a side. I used my Samurai army supported by a few Bakemono and Oni. The other armies included dwarves, elves, undead and other humans (medievals). Game lasted about three and a half hours with the dwarves, elves and undead defeating the three human armies. Yes I lost. [7 Apr 99] |

3500 points per side using Apocalypse game rules. Points awarded for killing enemy models on a point for point basis, with additional points for controlling objectives on the battlefield. I used a standard historical Roman army against an orc army with shaman and a few ogres as monsters. The orc player relied to heavily on magic allowing me to control the course of the battle with my superior infantry. Also when I eliminated one of his 2 shaman on the second turn it was a personal demoralization point for him. [7 Apr 99] |

Dark Heaven Apocalypse - Vampires versus Dwarves. Approximately 120 figures in the Vampire army and about 230 in the Dwarven army. Battle lasted about 2 1/2 hours with the Dwarves winning by a narrow margin. [6 Apr 99] |
Ron Hawkins |
Played Dark Heaven Apocalypse, vampires vs. humans. My vampires wiped the table clear of humans in record time. [5 Apr 99] |

Last time we played, I totally smashed Frank's goofy orc army. [19 Mar 99] |
Jon Walker |
Playing Apocalypse recently my dreaded gargoyle army led by a Gargoyle Queen engaged a orc/goblin army in a mountain pass. While their archers gave me a moment of concern, my ability to fly allowed me to disrupt their formations and eliminate them. Dark Heaven Apocalypse is a very good game that I would recommend to any level of player. The price of the support minis (some of the best IMO) makes it easy to build custom armies. [7 Mar 99] |

Gold Rush scenerio using DHA, In it small bands of troops are sacking a coastal village collecting gold. The one at the end with the most... wins! [7 Mar 99] |

Humans against Orcs, Orcs routed the humans thanks to brillant commands and decent dice... [4 Mar 99] |

It was Dark Heaven Apocalypse and myself and two friends played a free for all. I played my Dire-dead army against Tom's Elves and Jon's Human barbarians. The Humans cleaned my plow but I almost totally destroyed all of the Elves. [1 Mar 99] |
