I played a Demonworld game with my Imperium army against one of my best friend who have a Bear Thain army(they are barbarian). He tried to go to close combat but my bowmens and guns were not agree. Those barbarians were fast all dead when they finally arrive to fight. I won it was a great game [3 Nov 1999] |

My orcs were holding their own against the hordes of Chaos in front of them when my General and his Boar Boyz decided to turn tail and were cut down by some plaguebearers, with that the rest of my army freaked out and headed for the hills, another loss by the massively cowardly orcs and gobbos. Although my favorite mass-combat system is Demonworld, it is not very often found here in the USA. When I was in Germany for a short stay i played it every weekend. But my last fantasy game was a HOTT game using Pendraken's 10mm Goblins vs Lizardmen. Talk about quick!!!! The Gobos did not do they Gods right.. After the first clash of units, the Lizardmen feasted upon Gobo flesh!! Three complete turns later, Lizardmen ruled! My dice Gods forfeitted me to the Lizardmen. All of my 1 rolls were against his 5 or 6 rolls. It was ugly, if anything could be uglier than Goblins and Lizardmen!!! We played a second game, switching sides. Nope, it was my God that had forsaken me. Once again, in less than 30 minutes the Goblins were wearing new lizard skin boots!!! My dice God for that day were gone... Great fun though. We played two games in about one and a half hours!!! [17 Sep 1999] |

I am currently running a map-based Warhammer Fantasy Campaign, with armies from Dwarves, High Elves, Wood Elves, Chaos Dwarves, and Lizardmen. So far: Dwarves: 0-0 High Elves: 2-0 Wood Elves: 2-1 Chaos Dwarves: 0-2 Lizardmen: 1-0 [15 Sep 1999] |

Hordes of the Things. Amazons vs Skeleton/undead. A"best of three" campaign, with the Amazons winning two. Little terrain except for a large woods to the left side. While "Fantasy Rules" gave a better game, this was quick, fast, and fun. [15 Sep 1999] |

9-09-99: played armies of arcana, i have a devastating SAMURAI army. the battle was SAMURAI vs arabian 6,000pts per side. I skirmished my entire army to better utilize my SAMURAI's first strike capabilities by wrapping around my opponants large block units. i was greatly outnumbered and this almost proved to be my undoing, as it was mandatory to take leadership test after every mele turn. Though my SAMURAI are a fearless unit because of dice rolls i still had to kill an extra man or two every turn. by the end of the game my opponent only had scattered rements of troops while i onlt had one archer unit left that had been untouched the entire game but had delivered devastating fire. we still called it a draw. thanks [11 Sep 1999] |

I had alot of bowmen, he had alot of cavalary (The Horde). We each picked and placed some terrain and he picked so much impassable and difficult terrain, that his cavalary were ineffective, but which only affected my bowmen a little. The battle was close for awhile, because most of the difficult terrain was on my side, but by the time my archers moved into position covering the objective, it was all over. [11 Sep 1999] |

Well, I've said tons about Clan War already. Why go on and on? It's about as good as it gets (at least until our group gets Demonworld!) [14 Aug 1999] |

A simple meeting engagement using AoA, Orcs vs. Dwarves. The Orcs came on strong on the right flank with Wolfriders easily slicing through the unlucky xbows facing them. The center was much nicer for the Dwarves; the two-axe troops made mincemeat of the orc spears sent to try and take them. Left flank was a muddle; some Orc big-uns tangled with the elite Dwarves on bears and tigers and neither seemed to be making headway. The game ended quickly when the cursed Wolfriders (may they thrice be damned) managed to take the terrain objective the Orcs were after (mineshaft) and then on the next turn kill the Dwarven general. Uhh...is that enough? [10 May 99] |

armies of arcana: my medieval army was slaughtered by the wily samurai and their magical flaming arrows, argh. [9 May 99] |

Huge 6mm battle (Undead VS Arabians) using DBM with fantasy rules add-ons, lasted about half a day (1200 pts per side). [23 Apr 99] |

Last fantasy game was a Warhammer version merge of the 2nd and 4th editions. Worked pretty well. The Battle pitted the Orcs and against the High Elves, with the Orcs simply decimating their opponents. They managed to put the three Tiranoc chariots out of action with good maneuvering and use of terrain, and the masses of goblin archers actually took their toll on the Elven archers so that they were whittled down before the main Orc line advanced. Found out that small cheap Goblin groups are great screens, animosity being the one big disadvantage. [13 Apr 99] |

3500 points per side using Apocalypse game rules. Points awarded for killing enemy models on a point for point basis, with additional points for controlling objectives on the battlefield. I used a standard historical Roman army against an orc army with shaman and a few ogres as monsters. The orc player relied to heavily on magic allowing me to control the course of the battle with my superior infantry. Also when I eliminated one of his 2 shaman on the second turn it was a personal demoralization point for him. [7 Apr 99] |

I smashed my opponents army into tiny pieces with my 7,300 points huge CHAOS (and all the other COOL bad-guyz) and my opponentS started crying and didn't stop until the next morning. [2 Apr 99] |

Dark Elves vs Dwarfs, Dark elves decimated. Should have known better than playing against my wife..... [21 Mar 99] |

Well, in my last mass combat game, me and a friend crushed an army of Vermin rats (ruled by two friends of us) with my orc hordes. The game was great, played between four players. [13 Mar 99] |

Bretonnians vs. Lizardmen, i played with the forces from the Warhammer 3rd edition box setsince many of my other figures weren't ready, it ended up being just a shoot out between skink archers and Bretonnain archers the Sauruas and Knights saw almost no action it ended up a undecievie battle more like a draw with the skinks losing 26 archers, and 18 bretonnain archers lost. It was Dark Heaven Apocalypse and myself and two friends played a free for all. I played my Dire-dead army against Tom's Elves and Jon's Human barbarians. The Humans cleaned my plow but I almost totally destroyed all of the Elves. [1 Mar 99] |

AoA using an army GW lizardmen (plus some plastics from the toy store) vs Ral Partha dwarves. Before that, FR!2 using GW Epic Scout Titans, Rank & File Figures Late Medeival Knights + Martian Metals dive boppers against a pike & shot army using old Minifigs 15mms. FR is not without it's warts. Without some limits on 'fantastic' troops, rank & file infantry soon become worthless. Flying missile troops are also a problem. With some simple army construction limitations though, it's hands down the best game out there in terms of flexibility, quick play, and gamesmanship. [15 Feb 99] |

Durring a raiding action, my Goblins stumbled upon an advanced force of Lizardmen. Falls from Chariot lead his light cav on a sweeping manuver shooting his way through the lizards, monster flank guard. The battlines clashed as the light cav smashed the lines flank sending the lizardmen into panic. [15 Feb 99] |
