My last game was a medium sized battlesystem battle. The theme was good vs. evil and each side had 6 units. The battle lasted a few hours and ended when, after charging down a hill, the orc spearmen caused the elf cavalry to rout. Due to the lay of the land most of the good army was routed. The forces of evil were victorious because good is dumb. [6 May 99] |

Started A WFB campaign with a Night Goblin army. Only one magic item COC by default. One unfotunate shamans whoose head keeps blowing up. 5 battles fought. 5 battles one. The NG army is now the biggest in the campaign. Unfortunately only contains 4 character models and one magic item. Mind you having 5 charriots and a pump wagon helps!! [15 Apr 99] |

The last game that I played was Warhammer Fantasy. We played a small campaign. I went undefeated the entire campaign. The reason I like Warhammer so much is because of the awesome citadel minatures that go with the GW hobby. [25 Mar 99] |

PLayed Brett. vs. Undead in a campaign battle. was TOTALY destroyed!!! A very common occurance for me with Warhammer. Lost most of my good magice items early in the campaign, and that contribiuted greatly to the result. I must say that although I play mostly Warhammer, it doesn't mean I like the game all that much. Too distructive among other things. [24 Mar 99] |

I run Demos for Clan War at conventions and game stores - while you don't get much in-depth strategy out of a demo, you do get some amusing demonstrations. The best was the last survivor of a Heavy Infantry until that was left facing a full unit of Medium Infantry - in true Samurai style, he proceded to hold out and nearly wipe out the entire opposing unit before they finally killed him. During a game of Battlestoem at a local convention, I played an undead army Things wnet pretty well for the first part of the game, I swarmed over the elves on my side without too much trouble. Then my leader was knocked out in a volley of arrow fire. Unfortunatly, undead that are out of control go nuts and start attacking the nearest enemy, usually themselves. Things got pretty bad for a moment, as they tore into each other (and occasionally the enemy) Unfortunatly, the battle was concluded due to time before I could make my glorious comeback. Chipco fantasy rules. In preparation for a demo at an upcoming convention, we played 2 of the armies against each other. Undead vs. dwarves. The undead had an assassin which killed the dwarven cleric. This left the dwarves open to many spells, and resulted in their demise. The dwarves fought valiently, but the necromancer demoralized enough units to prevent them from offering an effective attacking force. A good game, but I feel that if the dwarven cleric had been around longer, or if he had a bodygaurd, it would have been different. Chipco is the rules that I picked because they are playable with the least amount of house rules. [14 Feb 99] |
