I am interested in using bigger (16 – 18cm) units but with fewer units – probably 100 points or about 9 – 10 units – on a 6 x 4 table. I would use the TtS! lists but 1/2 minimums and maximums. I wondered if anyone regularly used smaller points for TtS! and had any thoughts on running such games. Are small games OK for learning the rules but ultimately lose something for regular gaming? Would the games become too predictable? Any thoughts or advice on do's and dont's for such games?

Hi I'm sure this would work. The main tweak would be the lists which are designed for slughtly larger armies; you might need to reduce some minima. Some armies would work better than others; hoplite or shieldwall armis would be fine but light cavalry armies might lack manoeuvre room. Best Simon
