I just found out that Siege Works Studios first Horse and Musket rulebooks, this one covering the Age of Frederick and the Seven Years War is now out. Finally the book is back from the publishers. I should be getting my copy early next week. It was a bit tricky at first finding the online shop. On the Homepage there is bold text about halfway down the page stating click here. That gets you to the postage info and at the bottom of that page is another bold, click here, that gets you to the secure online shop. They have PAYPAL as well as cc cards options. I think that maybe they need a better heading on the homepage for the online shop but even so the pics look great. Once again cannot wait to get mine. The website is koenigkrieg.com |

Are these new? I thought a set of rules named "Koenig Krieg" had been around for many years: "I have played Koenig Krieg since 1982 or 1983, and have had some legendary battles using the system. I've used both first and second edition rules." TMP link |

Seige Works have gone back to the orignal book and, as far as I am aware, produced a high quality puplication incorporating the supplements. |

What is the derivation of the current Koenigskrieg? I remember that Barry Gray ran frequent games at the early HMGS conventions. He was working on a version called LA GUERRE DU ROI for the WSS/GNW era. But he suddenly dropped out of the hobby and, though a life member by virtue of having been at Wally's Basement (founding meetings in November of 1981) nobody in HMGS heard from him. Who is now carrying on with KK? Pat |

I don't know, Pat, but maybe they say who at the new website: koenigkrieg.com |

I only remember earlier versions of Koenig Krieg played with 15mm figures. Does anyone know whether version 3 would cater for 28mm as well? It'd be nioce to know before ordering

It is an Australian company called Siege Works Studios that have rereleased Koenig Krieg. I received my copy in the post a couple of days ago. Very happy with it. Love the new army lists and the overall presentation. There official website is koenigkrieg.com The online shop can be accessed from the hoepage although from memory it was a bit awkward. I think they have placed a better link to the secure online shop since I ordered my copy. I used PAYPAL, but you can also use credit cards, I think!!! Anyway great work!!! |

The new rules are written for 15mm, but the rulebook says that to play with 25/28's just double all the measurements. Pete |

Thank you Pete – given the frontages and ranges indicated in a parallel thread, that would seem to work. Nothing against 15mm you understand, I just can't paint them properly anymore. |

Yeah, it would be nice if we could merge a couple of these threads
