You can download the latest version off the HFG Yahoo Group for free. Downloaded mine recently, but haven't gotten round to reading them yet |

Morgrim, I think you mean DBR, not HFG, a big difference. Also, did you mean DBR 1 or 1.1 to 2? In either case worth the few bucks to buy new version. Lots of changes and some are improvements. Too many to try to list. |

Played DBR 1, didn't like it. No one I played with did. Got DBR 2, better reading, haven't played it, everyone I know plays it, loves it. You can also download it off the web somewhere, just not sure where. |

No legal version is available to download. It is a commercial publication, still in print. |

"No legal version is available to download. It is a commercial publication, still in print." Incorrect. Phil Barker put his second edition of DBR on the HFG Yahoo site for international playtesting, just like he did with his HFG rules. |

Phil Barker put his second edition of DBR on the HFG Yahoo site for international playtesting, just like he did with his HFG rules. ----------- And he took it off again before the rules were published; the published version was never online, so the statement is correct. I find DBR 2 an improvement over 1.1. The factors have been rejigged a bit so Shot are not quite so cominant, and the 'separation anxiety' rule is much better than the 'wide groups' rule. |

I have only played a couple of DBR 2.0 games and they seem to play well. But I also enjoyed DBR 1.0 and 1.1! There are rather a lot of changes and a new copy of the rules would be a very good investment IMO. I just need to find more opponents locally! |
