There's a very kind review of the rules at the back of the most recent Slingshot magazine, by Tim Thompson. Some good points in there; one in particular that I might write into V2.*

Slingshot is the magazine of the Society of Ancients. I've bought this (on and off) since the 1980s. What I really like about it is that, aside from it being a good read, there is, every second or third issue, a really incredible piece that changes the way I think about some aspect of ancient warfare. Sometimes these even make it into the rules or army lists. I would recommend people to subscribe- it's great value and can be found at soa.org.uk.

Yes I like it. I think we can do more with light troops, to differentiate the ones who fought up close from those who liked to stay at a distance.
