I hear mention of this, but I didn't spot anything called "ultra" being available as a download or variant. |

There was some discussion about it on the Yahoo Group, and IIRC, there was a new version on another website. I think it was more than 1 – 2 pages, perhaps 10 – 20 pages for more completeness, explaining all the rules. Can't remember if they dropped the D6 in favor of a D10, or other dicing conventions. There was some modification to morale, and other rules, like op fire, IIRC, too. It is out there, but sorry, can't recall where. I suspect a Google search should find it. |

To my knowledge nothing ever came to fruition for Ultra. There was discussion over some ideas that Craig tossed out, but nothing official ever came down from him. I haven't ever been to the Yahoo Group, so I can't comment on that. But here's Craig's board and the discussion died down there years ago… its been silent since 2014. link Here is what Craig had in mind: Hi All,In Her Majesty's Name is in the hands of Osprey Publishing and we await the editor's questions. So in the meantime my mind has turned to the long awaited topic of Ultra FUBAR. It is my intention, with your assistance, to overhaul the FUBAR rules in a multipage ruleset, supported by a one page version for at the table reference. Ultimate FUBAR will contain expanded rule descriptions, clarifying examples, optional rules an scale changing advice, amongst much more. Although the one page format has served us well, I would say that over 90% of the queries I get regarding FUBAR are based in misunderstandings of the intent or wording of the restricted one page format. I shall revisit each rule in turn to see if it has worked and can we improve it. For example: upon reflection, and having read hundreds of posts and comments on the subject, I think Activation is broken in that it makes elite forces far more powerful than less skilled ones. Players are losing games not because they are poor tacticians but because they had poor dice rolls. I have ideas on how we improve this. If you are interested in being part of this please leave a reply to this message. As always credit shall be give to each contributor and playtester. Cheers, Craig. I would love to see such a thing. So naturally, it's stillborn. |

I would perfer "in stasis" myself. Craig is out there and he's said a thing or two. So maybe… |

Yea, most of the discussion occurred after the migration away from the Yahoo Group for this. |

There is an Ultra Fubar Doc available. It gives 1 action to units that fail activation and 2 to everyone who pass it. I use it. Gonna use it for my 28mm Terminator game at Cincycon. |
