Hey everyone! I posted a request for some help identifying some miniatures my brother bought, and today we decided to use them for a game. We used FUBAR, as we are both relatively familiar with the system. The mission objective was to get a recovery vehicle (represented by an AA gun for the Russians, and a rocket battery for the NATO side) to a downed chopper in the center of the board. As we lacked any 6mm terrain whatsoever, we improvised and used Lego buildings on my brother's work desk for a makeshift gaming table! As for stats, we statted each side's vehicles evenly to make for a fair (relatively!) game; all vehicles were seasoned, the tanks had cannons and heavy armour, the recovery vehicles had medium armour.

The NATO forces:

And some battle shots:

The NATO forces were quick to get going, getting far luckier with their activation rolls.

One of the Russian tanks was destroyed! Things are looking good for the NATO forces.

The NATO recovery vehicle manages to successfully gain vital plans from the helicopter and begins it's escape.

The other Russian tank is destroyed! Victory for the NATO forces, and unfortunately for me, that means my brother has won.

The Russian wreckage…

This wasn't played with much seriousness, with our haphazard and totally unrealistic approach to rules. We enjoyed ourselves though, and that is the main thing!

Lego FTW.
So… has the game of 6mm FUBAR greatness hooked you onto 6mm?
