Well, I have finally started work on my FUBAR miniatures in 6mm. I have had a bunch of Dark Realm miniatures sitting around in a box for awhile and finally decided to get some paint on them.

My first force is going to be based around the Andrayadas. There will be no tanks in this force as they attack quickly from orbit using a low orbit dropped teleportation point that is randomly placed on the battlefield (Deviation die roll along with a d10 to mark inches) From there, fast attack skimmers emerge. There are two types of skimmer, one that acts as a mobile teleportation point (Akin to a transport) and the other is armed with advanced weaponry to provide support. The overall idea is that I want these guys to be fast, heavily armed, but, lightly armored.

Here is a small piece of terrain I have whipped together along with a test fireteam for the overall paint scheme! The lookout was made with platformer pieces and mounted on a CD

Those platformer bits work surprisingly well in 6mm.

Great looking stuff. The smaller scales are excellent for making awesome terrain due to the compact size.

Really nice. Has me thinking…

Very nice. I decided recently to convert some 6mm SF to single figure bases for FUBAR. Michael at Angel Barracks sucked me in with his work in this area. Your troops and scenery are also an inspiration to continue. Please post more.

What are the figures based on?

Looks great! I've just started a 6mm Fubar project using DRM figures too.

Thanks for the comments folks!

For bases I am using thin 1/4in washers. I glue the fig on and use epoxy putty to blend the fig to the base.

Plus, they are magnetic so I can store them in a box with a magnetic sheet!

That is the Dogs is that.
Fantastic.

Do you have a blog or anything we can follow?

Michael.

Wasn't much of a fan of the Andrayadas until I saw these. Nice lookout too.

I agree. Not so keen on the commander, but the other troops are very nice and i like the colour scheme too
