In VSF the aether is breathable, albeit it would make one "short" of breath.

He's a portly fellow in pillbox hat, splendid muttonchops and one hand on his hip while leaning on his umbrella.

Someone needs to take better pictures of their products, I can't tell anything about most of those models with how overexposed the shots are!
