My brother has me hooked on the free fubar rules, and we'd like to try them for our new zeds, do you think the rules would work well? What stats should the zombies have?
Let me know. Thanks!
When I have more time, I'll post the link to the rules when I have more time

It would work perfectly well . Weve played a Sci Fi game of FUBAR and it was my Imperial Guard against a Traitor Gurd type force and some of the "bad guys " were mindless zombies , very effective at close combat , not so good using their brains , I think they use similar to Tyranid stastline or something

it would work very well for use with zombies

cheers Tom

This Fubar is ideal for dealing with zombies:

yes, they would be Bugs/Xenomorhs in Sci-fi Fubar give them a 3+ save. and a 5 inch walk.

Limit them to one action per turn. Though they can attack if they contact a fig at the end of their movement. They also only would move towards noise (gunshots) or a visible enemy.

Depends on the zeds. If the TWD (come on season 4…) type then make them cr ap individually, through to lethal in large numbers. I don't know the Fubar rules so can't be more specific in terms of game mechanics. if using uber zeds then the 'Tyranid' type approach sounds entirely feasible.

I'd work off the zeds having a priority list for how and what they react to. So they are more likely to react to fresh meat in front of them than shooting from a hidden location, that sort of thing.

What a great tool! You can open doors, kill zombies and open beer bottles!

Yes, there is a version of Horror rules available under the FUBAR one page rules system. On the link below is a set of rules called "FUBAR – something wicked this way comes." It is toward the bottom of the page. It contains rules for various heros, monsters and creepies, including Fast Zombies and Slow Zombies. There is also a section of character cards listed directly below the "something wicked…" rules. Get your shots, grab your Stanley Fubar and have a go at them.
